This tour is planned for Provincial Chess Champions in Victoria for the Canadian Chess Challenge. The tour is free! UVic is one of our sponsors for the Canadian Chess Challenge. We hope to see you back in Victoria when you start your post secondary education. www.uvic.ca
Tours are planned for Friday evening May 20 at 7pm and 8pm. The 7pm tour is designed for Grade 1-7 and the 8pm tour is designed for Grade 8-12. Players can choose either tour regardless of grade. pre registration is recommended to ensure there are an adequate number of guides.
Tours are led by current undergraduate students who will orient you to campus, as well as share their experience at UVic, provide tips on how to get involved in campus life, as well as information about services to support students. The guides will give you an inside look at the UVic lifestyle, pointing out our favourite places to study, to connect with friends, to order fresh sushi or to grab a coffee. By visiting a room in residence you’ll be able to see what living on campus is really like. Best of all, you can experience the natural beauty of UVic and the surrounding area.
